Saving water, how many of us do? There are so many easily ways of saving water are you? For instance; when you get up in the morning and go to the bathroom to brush your teeth, do you turn on the hot water first? and wait for it to warm up, well that’s wasting water, what you should do, fetch that water and recycle it for your plants or dishes.

How about when you take a shower? You can save water with a low-flow showerhead, that you can pick up at most do-it-yourself center. Take shorter showers and use the shut-off value when soaping up and shampooing. If you are planning to use the bathtub, fill it only halfway and save water.

Install low-flow faucet aerators, and repair any leaks, however, check and replace any worn-out fixture, washers, and hose connections. When you are washing dishes in the sink, conserve water by filling the sink with water, wash dishes, then rinse. Do not let the water run down the drain.

Check your toilet for leaks by adding a few drops of food coloring in the water tank. The coloring should appear in the toilet if there is a leak.
